The only confirmed gusuku in the village of Kin.

Kin Gusuku is the only confirmed gusuku (Okinawan fortress) in the village of Kin. It is located behind the town hall, atop a hill known as “Wiinumoo.”
It is believed to date from the 14th to 15th centuries; its year of construction, as well and the identities of those who built it, are unknown.
A stone held to be from the gate at Kin Gusuku is on display in front of the town hall.
